Your appointment starts with a review of your concern, medical history, medications, allergies, current skin condition and previous cosmetic procedures. We examine the planned area to decide whether Rejuran is appropriate and which Rejuran option may suit it.

Because Rejuran is animal-derived, please tell us about relevant allergies or past reactions. We explain the expected temporary effects, risks, alternatives, aftercare and cost before you decide. With your consent, clinical photographs may be taken to record the starting point. You can take more time rather than proceed on the day.

If you choose to proceed, we cleanse the planned area. Topical numbing may be discussed based on the area and clinic protocol. Rejuran is then placed into the skin through a series of small intradermal injections.

The number of injection points and amount used depend on the Rejuran option selected, the area and your anatomy. You may feel brief pinching, stinging or pressure. Thinner areas, including under the eyes, can feel more sensitive.

Before you leave, we check the area and explain what to expect while the injection sites settle. Small raised points, redness, localised swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur. Under-eye swelling may look more noticeable because the skin is thin.

Keep the area clean and avoid unnecessary touching, pressing or rubbing. Follow the personalised instructions on makeup, active skincare, exercise, swimming, heat exposure and facial treatments. Contact TAEGA if pain, redness, warmth or swelling increases rather than settles. Any review or further appointment is planned around your response, not a fixed package.
